All cabins are housekeeping cabins, which means it must be left in the same condition as it was left for you. Kitchens are fully equipped with dishes, silverware, pots & pans, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Bed linens, broom and vacuum are provided. You provide your own kitchen and bath towels and soaps. NO SMOKING allowed in cabins. Extra linen is $3 per set.

Cabin Reservations & Cancellation Policy

A deposit of $250 per cabin per week or $150 per cabin per partial stay is required to confirm reservation.  Deposits must be received within 7 days of date reservation was made or it cannot be guaranteed.  A confirmation will be sent when depsosit is received.  Deposits are non-refundable unless a 90 day notice is given AND your cabin vacancy is filled.  There is a $30 service fee on all refunds.  At the end of your stay you have first option to reserve your cabin for the same time next year.  Otherwise, cabins are available on a first come first serve basis.

Cash, personal checks, travelers checks, VISA and MasterCard are accepted.

Cabin Visitor Policy

For the privacy and comfort of our guests, please let us know if you are expecting any VISITORS at your cabin.  All visitors must register at the Office. There is a $10 per day per person visitor charge for any age.  Pets are also considered persons.  All visitors must be off the grounds by 10 PM.  Overnight visitors fall under the "Additional Guest" rate.  See above rates.

Pets
We currently accept well behaved pets at Birchmere Resort.  There is a $25 per day per pet or a $125 per pet per week charge no matter the size of the animal.  Minnesota state law requires that pets be on a leash at all times.  No exceptions.  Owner is responsible for immediate removal of pet waste. Pets are not to be left alone at any time for any reason while in cabin or tied up.  Pets are not allowed on swimming beach, playground or newly remodeled cabins 3 & 4.  Our pet policy is for the safety and enjoyment of all our guests.

Camping Reservations & Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable deposit of half down is required to confirm camping reservations.  A deposit must be received within 7 days reservation was made or it cannot be guaranteed.  Pets are counted as part of the capacity.  A $10 per person/pet fee will be charged for any capicity over 5.  A 3 night minimum stay is required for holiday weekends. 

Camping Visitor Policy

Due to the quiet and comfort of all our guests, daily visitors are not allowed at campsites.  At times additional campsites are available for visitors of registered guests to rent. 

 Marina Rental Policies

- Marina rentals are on a first come first serve basis.

-Pontoon is a 15 ft with depth finder and 25hp Yamaha motor.

-Fishing boats are 14 foot Lund boats and motors are 6hp.

- First tank of gas is included in rental.

-We do not control the weather.  You are responsible for entire time reserved unless Birchmere staff decides it is unsafe for you to be on the water.
